ALAND Open Doors to MINJU KIM’s 2nd brand ‘Mbrary’ at American Dream.

On May 14th 2021, The Next in Fashion winner Minju Kim, will be launching her second brand 'Mbrary' at the ALAND store in American Dream Mall.
ALAND is at the center of South Korean fashion in Seoul and is known for attracting trend setters. First established in South Korea, ALAND currently has retail stores in Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.
In 2018, ALAND opened its very first U.S. flagship store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and in October 2020, it opened its second store at the American Dream Mall.
Minju Kim, the winner of Next in Fashion, will be showcasing her new fashion brand 'Mbrary' in collaboration with ALAND at the American Dream. The brand "Mbrary,' is a blended word between the designer name Minju Kim and the Library. Mbrary is inspired by Minju Kim's drawing collections, and her willingness to display them in a simpler and more casual way to the audience.
Minju Kim is set to showcase 'Mbrary' with her first collection 'Eyes of the hero,' and is planning to release graphic t-shirts and caps. Eco Bags will also be launched in collaboration with ALAND, which also features Minju Kim's award winning designs in the past.
ABOUT MINJU KIM:
Minju Kim (born 1986) is a South Korean fashion designer. She launched her self-named, Seoul-based company MINJUKIM in 2015. She is known for starting her fashion shows with a design featuring a core, self-designed print that appears throughout the rest of the collection. In 2020, Kim was named the winner of Netflix's reality show and fashion design competition, Next In Fashion, edging out British designer Daniel Fletcher. Kim was previously the winner of the 2013 H&M Design Award and was shortlisted for the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers in 2014.
